Local social pack: 30 days for Belfast cafés, salons, trades and shops
120 captions that sound like you, not an advert. A shot list. A useful story a week. £12.
Who it’s for
Owners in Belfast and NI who post their own Instagram, Facebook or Google updates on their phone, usually when it’s quiet. Cafés, salons and barbers, trades, and shops with 1 to 20 staff. You know you should post more. You don’t want to sound like a Brooklyn coffee chain.
What’s inside
- 30 captions for cafés. Soup of the day, the quiet Tuesday, the oat milk nobody noticed was free.
- 30 captions for salons. Free chairs Thursday, patch tests, cancellations, price lists.
- 30 captions for trades. Diary full until, callout charges, stopcocks, ‘running 20 minutes late on the Sydenham bypass’.
- 30 captions for shops. New in, click and collect, local makers, late opening.
- Phone photo shot list. Eight shots per niche, with tips that work on a phone.
- One useful story a week, per niche. Opening hours change, supplier shortage, last bookings before a holiday. Not motivational.
- Voice rules and NI dates. How to edit without slipping into hype, and the NI bank holidays worth a post.
- Word and PDF. Edit the brackets in Word, or print and scribble.
How you use it
- Find your section.
- Fill the brackets in all 30 captions in one go.
- Take a week’s photos at once using the shot list.
- Schedule a week at a time, three to five posts.
- Use the weekly story whenever something real happens.
What it won’t do
- It won’t grow your followers or get you on the ‘For You’ page. No promises about reach.
- It doesn’t post for you or connect to your accounts.
- It won’t write about your business specifically. You fill the brackets: prices, names, streets.
- It isn’t legal, tax or employment advice.
Worked example: a salon in Ballyhackamore
Made up. ‘Upper Cut’, three chairs on the Upper Newtownards Road. A month with the pack:
| When | What she did | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday evening | Filled the brackets in 30 salon captions, deleted 4, added 2 of her own | 25 min |
| Monday 8.40am | Took the week’s photos before the first client | 10 min |
| Monday | Scheduled five posts, Tuesday to Saturday | 15 min |
| Wednesday | Toner delivery didn’t come: posted the ‘supplier shortage’ story, rang two clients | 5 min |
| Whole month | 20 posts and 3 stories | About 1 hr 10 min |
Sample café caption: “Tuesday is the quiet one. Best day for a proper sit-down and a table by the window.” Sample trade story: “We’re booked up until [the week of 16 November]. Small jobs we can sometimes squeeze in on Friday mornings.”
