Google Business Profile fixer for Belfast independents

Make your Google listing true: right hours, right category, real photos, decent replies. £7.

Who it’s for

Independent shops, cafés, salons, barbers, pubs and trades in Belfast and NI with 1 to 20 staff. You’ve got a Google listing (or keep meaning to claim one), you do your own marketing on your phone, and you’re fed up with people turning up on a Sunday because Google said you were open.

What’s inside

  • 10-minute listing check. Name, hours, bank holiday hours, map pin, phone, website, attributes, owner access.
  • Categories guidance. How to pick one primary category that says what you are, with examples for cafés, pubs, salons, barbers, plumbers, electricians and shops.
  • Services list. Ready-to-edit services and prices for five kinds of business, plus a description template.
  • Photo list. Ten shots to take on your phone, and why each one matters.
  • Review-reply scripts. A complaint about a long wait, a no-show (both ways round) and a five-star review.
  • 14-day post calendar. Day-by-day post ideas with Belfast hooks: St George’s Market Friday to Sunday, NI bank holidays including 17 March and the Twelfth, the City Marathon, Halloween, the Christmas Market at City Hall, freshers’ week, cruise calls.
  • Worked example. A café on the Ormeau Road, before and after, in 35 minutes.
  • Word and PDF. Edit the Word file, or print the PDF and tick it off.

How you use it

  1. Open your profile in Google Search or the Maps app.
  2. Do the 10-minute check and fix anything wrong.
  3. Set categories and paste in your services.
  4. Take the photos and answer every review from the last three months.
  5. Copy the 14-day calendar into your phone.

What it won’t do

  • It won’t move you up the map or get you more reviews. Nobody honest can promise that.
  • It doesn’t log in to Google for you or post anything automatically.
  • It isn’t Google’s official policy. Google’s rules and buttons change; check their help pages.
  • It isn’t legal, tax or employment advice.

Worked example: a café on the Ormeau Road

Hatch & Hearth is made up: 28 seats, a few doors up from the Ormeau Bridge. The owner did the fixer on a quiet Tuesday afternoon in 35 minutes.

What it won’t do for her: promise a ranking. What it does: fewer wasted trips to a locked door, and replies a new customer can read before deciding.

Official figures last checked: 3 October 2026. Bank holiday dates from GOV.UK (Northern Ireland list); St George’s Market days from Belfast City Council; Belfast City Marathon 2027 date from the race organiser. Event dates that couldn’t be confirmed (Christmas Market, freshers’ weeks, cruise calls) are left as ‘check the organiser’s site’. Rates and dates change. Check current GOV.UK / HMRC / nibusinessinfo / nidirect / your accountant before you rely on any of them.
